Piano for beginners – Group Lessons

In this 60-minute group class, you will gradually discover how fun it is to play the piano or keyboard. We dive straight into the music: learning to read notes, playing rhythms, and making music together. The lesson starts with a finger warm-up, followed by examples that the group members play along with. Each week brings something new. We practise both solo and as a group, building confidence and musicality in a playful way.

The teacher creates a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels safe and enjoys learning. At the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to perform your music during the Bruis Weekend. This is a wonderful chance to invite friends and family to see and hear everything you’ve learned.

Practical Information

• Language: Dutch
• The price depends on your age. Under 18? You pay the lower rate.
• Each lesson lasts 60 minutes.
• You will need your own (digital) piano or keyboard at home.
• The student’s age determines the course price. For children and young people, the course fee is lower than for adults.
• Would you like to try a trial lesson (€5)? This is always possible for courses of 8 lessons or more. For courses of 16 lessons or more, it’s temporarily available as well (until October 2025). Click on ‘Register’ and select ‘I would like to do a trial lesson’.
