Creative writing course for beginners (adults)
This course is perfect if you want to start writing. You’ll learn how to structure a story, bring a character to life, and develop your own writing style. We begin with a short theory introduction about topics like characters, genres, or structure, and then dive into practical work. You’ll write fragments, dialogues, or scenes and learn how to use your senses and memories. The teacher provides focused feedback, encourages creativity, and creates a supportive group atmosphere. Each week, you’ll build your writing skills further. At the end of the course, you’ll present your work during the Bruis weekend — a grand finale!
Good to know:
- Bring a pen and paper or a laptop.
- Language: Dutch, but you can write in English.
