Acting for camera
Learn how to create sketches and discover what it’s like to act realistically in front of a camera.

We all watch movies and TV shows. Want to know what it’s like to be in front of a camera yourself?
In this short course consisting of 3 sessions on June 11, June 18, and June 25, you’ll experience what it’s like to act subtly in front of a camera. You’ll also get a brief introduction to how a sketch is made, similar to what you might see on shows like Sluipschutters, Rundfunk, or De Luizenmoeder. You’ll learn not only to think like your character but also practical aspects such as where to stand and how retakes work. Fun and discovering what it’s like to work with a camera are at the heart of this course!
You’ll work toward a short scene that will ultimately be filmed. During the final class, we’ll watch all the different scenes. Finally, you’ll receive some tips to help you with auditions.
