Free museum lessons for Years 5–8
Looking out loud. That’s what pupils in Years 5 to 8 do during the museum sessions at Eindhoven’s Van Abbemuseum. They explore the museum through a variety of interactive activities and artistic disciplines. Looking, feeling, listening – it’s all allowed, because there’s so much to experience! A museum educator guides them, encourages them, and helps them think creatively.

Creativity doesn’t stop when the bell rings. With our after-school programme, full of music, dance, theatre, media, visual arts and creative writing, your pupils are introduced to different creative disciplines through modern, engaging lessons. Think of music and dance workshops, or a “Beastly Party” for 4- and 5-year-olds. Older children can try their hand at TikTok and musical theatre or take part in a drama workshop.
