Bruisweekend: CKE opens its doors
A Bruisweekend is something special. That’s when we throw our doors wide open to amateur artists and arts associations from Eindhoven. As a visitor, you can enjoy live music, performances, concerts and other shows. Or take part in some of the most fun workshops – usually free, and sometimes for a small fee. Prefer to just watch? That’s perfectly fine too.

Bruisweekend – January 2025
This weekend kicked off with a band night on Friday and rolled smoothly into a buzzing Sunday afternoon. Improvisation theatre had the audience on the edge of their seats, while the bands at Café C brought energetic vibes – as did the lively performance by the Lindy Hop dance group. Wajang puppet making was a great hit (with some stunning photos to show for it), and visitors explored the "Denkbeelden" exhibition. Add to that music in the concert hall and vocals on the pop stage – it all made for a fantastic weekend full of art and culture.

Bruisweekend – November 2024
Music in the concert hall and on the pop stage (band night!), visual art during the screen printing demo, children drawing and painting, an interactive art installation, and lovely recitals by our piano students... Bruis was, once again, filled from top to toe with art, culture and creativity.

Bruisweekend & Atelierroute – October 2024
CKE was buzzing with creativity, as this Bruisweekend also welcomed participants of the Eindhoven Atelierroute. That meant lots of inspiring work to see – strolling through the halls to admire the art. There was no shortage of music either, with fantastic performances in our concert hall. We enjoyed acts by the Sparkle choir, the Lighttown Big Band, and some performing students. The screen printing demo and exhibition surely sparked inspiration among visual arts fans. Another brilliant Bruis!
