What do you do at CKE?
“I am an intern in the marketing and communications team. After completing my bachelor’s degree in International Business, I took a gap year before possibly starting a master’s degree in Marketing. During my internship, I mainly provide support with social media, the website, and designing posters and flyers.”
Why CKE in particular?
“I wanted to do an internship at CKE because I think it’s a great organization. Its mission to encourage people to be creative really appeals to me. I experienced this myself when I took classes at CKE as a child.”
When do you go home feeling good after a day’s work?
“When I feel like I’ve achieved something or learned something new. And preferably when I’ve been able to contribute something to my team. It’s also nice when I’ve had a good chat with my colleagues.”
What is your connection to art and culture?
“I’ve always enjoyed being creative, for example with drawing and painting. I also love watching movies and going on free walking tours during vacations to learn more about the culture of a place.”
Do you also engage in art and culture in your free time? If so, what?
“Definitely! In my free time, I like to crochet and knit: for Christmas, I made hats for my family. I also think it would be fun to take a theater workshop to step out of my comfort zone and learn to speak more freely.”
