Why CKE?
“CKE is the warm heart of art and culture in Eindhoven. Everyone can come here to develop themselves artistically and creatively. With my passion for art, film, and music, I feel completely at home here. Together with my colleague, I coordinate cultural education. We work with many teachers in primary and secondary education across Eindhoven.”
What is your connection with art and culture?
“I studied Art (History) and New Media and have worked at several cultural organisations. I also enjoy drawing and coloring—using pencil, charcoal, or digital tools. I love going to musicals and concerts, and I collect vinyl records.”
When do you go home feeling good?
“Especially when we’ve managed to give students an amazing day at CKE. Beyond that, every day here is a creative celebration: from exhibitions of our amateur artists in the corridors, to music coming from the concert hall, or teachers sharing their work. It’s always lively and enjoyable here.”
