What is your connection with art and culture?
“As a child, I was fascinated by artistic and cultural expressions. Art and culture have grown into my area of expertise. Professionally, I am a visual artist, and in my free time I enjoy dancing, drawing, and writing. I also like attending theatre and dance performances, as well as exhibitions.”
When and why did you become a teacher?
“For a few years, I worked as a social-cultural worker, then I became an MBO teacher, teaching students in social-pedagogical work. I combined this with studying at the art academy and graduated as a visual artist and art education teacher. Since then, I have been teaching art education to inspire people through the arts. In my lessons, I also enjoy teaching a sense of design and technical skills. I’m always happy when my students leave class feeling good. Clay always makes people happy!”
