Marisa Wouters

Amateur Arts Coordinator

Marisa Wouters

What do you do at CKE, and why here in particular?

“I work as a coordinator for amateur art. Art brings people together, offers new perspectives and can provide support. I’m happy to contribute to an organisation that makes art and culture accessible to everyone.”

What is your connection to art and culture?

“It has always fascinated me, especially music and theatre. I enjoy attending concerts and performances and actively follow what’s happening in the music world. I’ve played guitar since I was 9, I sing, and I’ve taught myself piano and bass. I also enjoy making demos in my home studio. I’m always creating something: crocheting, knitting, sewing, painting, embroidering; nothing is too wild to try.”

When do you go home feeling good after a working day?

“When I’ve been able to tick a few items off my to-do list, enjoyed some pleasant time with colleagues and helped others showcase their talents.”
