What do you do at CKE, and why here in particular?
“I work at CKE as a music and singing teacher, and I mainly give group singing lessons to people of different ages and backgrounds. It’s inspiring to work in a place where so much creativity and diversity come together, and where students of all levels can discover and develop their talent.”
What is your connection to art and culture?
“Art and culture run like a common thread through my life. What started with classical ballet grew into a great love for singing, music and musical theatre. I regularly perform on stage as a singer and greatly enjoy making music together. I also love going to musicals and theatre performances.”
What do you find important to pass on as a teacher?
“I want students to experience that singing is personal – it’s not about perfection, but about expression, courage and enjoyment. Together, we discover everything their voice can do.”
When do you go home feeling fulfilled?
“When I see that someone has taken a step, whether big or small. It might be technical, but it can also be in confidence or enjoyment. If someone walks out with a smile, my day is made.”
