What is your connection with art and culture, and why CKE?

“I first came to CKE at the Stratumsedijk location in the old swimming pool building. There, I took various photography courses to explore the many facets of photography. At some point, I took the step to become a freelance photographer. Over the past ten years, I have completed many commissioned photography assignments.

The creative and artistic environment at CKE continues to draw me in. As a volunteer, I can experiment with new techniques in a relaxed setting, such as special flash techniques. This adds more creativity to my photos, which also benefits my freelance work. It’s a win-win situation: CKE gets beautiful photos of its activities, and I can further develop my creativity as a photographer.”
