Financial support for Eindhoven’s amateur artists

Whether you’re an individual amateur artist or part of an amateur arts association – your work deserves to be seen. Art and culture keep Eindhoven vibrant, creative and connected. That’s why the Municipality of Eindhoven supports the amateur arts sector in three ways through subsidy schemes.

Below are the three funding schemes we manage on behalf of the Municipality of Eindhoven, you can apply directly.

Bruisweekend-2025

Basic Amateur Arts Grant

This grant is intended to support basic costs – such as rehearsal space rental, artistic direction, exhibitions, or performances. Check the conditions for the 2027 basic amateur arts grant and submit your application. Applications are open from May 2026 until 1 July 2026.

The application period for the 2026 basic amateur arts grant is now closed.

Amateur Arts Projects

Does your association have extra artistic, creative or organisational plans? Think of a major anniversary concert or a joint event with other amateur groups. Then you can apply for a one-time grant here. Check the conditions and submit your application – this can be done between September 1 and May 31.

New Initiatives

Are you or your project group developing a new initiative that adds value to the amateur arts sector in Eindhoven? Starting a new association? Or do you have a plan that serves a social purpose for the city? Then this is the scheme for you. Check the conditions and apply – this can be done between September 1 and May 31.

After your application – Projects or New Initiatives

Within 2 working days, we’ll confirm we’ve received your application. We’ll then check whether everything is complete – this takes about a week. After that, your application is passed to an independent advisory committee. They will issue their advice within 4 weeks, letting you know whether the subsidy will be granted (or if they need additional information).

Following their advice, Rianne Brouwers, Director of CKE, will make the final decision on whether the grant is awarded.
So you can be sure that your plan is being evaluated fairly, carefully and on its merits. The committee members are Tom Berghmans, Douwe Zeldenrust, Frans Koevoets and Carlijn de Bot.
